By creating a credible and recognisable situation, our actors cultivate an environment in which the participants are able to experiment with their behaviour and where they can see the effect of that behaviour on their environment. Actors are experts in displaying behaviour that produces a credible character with whom the participant can practise. It enables the participant to experience the consequences of his or her behaviour. From their role, the actors give recognisable feedback to the participant. They then create a new situation, in which the participant can practise new behaviour depending on the objectives of the training.

Why work with actors?
Role-play actors give people the opportunity to try out new skills, to practise in a safe, risk-free environment, and to practise these skills until they start to feel habitual, trusted, and comfortable. Act Inc. provides professional actors who can adopt the role of the client, employee, colleague, or line manager. Our actors can display the daily challenges of the workfloor in a safe learning environment. Our actors can stop/playback/fast forward and repeat like a flexible CD-Rom. Participants are given the opportunity to ’just try it out’, to experiment with the situation in this learning laboratory, without any harmful consequences that would result from practising in real-life situations. When you’ve experienced the absolute worst-case scenario in a practice situation, you will know exactly how you can bring your new skills to bear in real life.
